So I opened my bedroom window for Dax and Kara. They were so pleased that they actually sat together without fighting, something they rarely do. Spring really is coming, I guess.
Apologies for not posting in forever. I've been deeply depressed since my cousin's suicide. She was my best friend my whole life and I'm finding it difficult to move on. I haven't wanted to write for Doux Reviews, either. I'd have hope that spring is coming and things might be better, if only the current administration weren't in the process of actively destroying my country.

I've had a rough start to this year. Between the dudes ruining our country, the fires, the floods, and some personal stuff I should not post about here, it's been tough. It's been freezing here too. Not like ACTUALLY freezing obviously but it feels like a proper winter. We almost never get those. Heating costs have been insane which is so not fair since we always have to pay a fortune in the summer when it's 102 to keep the house livable. Climate change, I am so done with you. Depression is a bitch. I was diagnosed when I was 16 but I know it predates that. By a lot. I'm so sorry for what you've been going through. Soon there will be flowers, warmer days, and less night. We can make it until then. <3
