The Dead Zone
Reviews by Billie Doux

The Dead Zone (2002-2007) was a series based on the original novel by Stephen King. It ran for six seasons on USA, mostly during the summer, and I reviewed it pretty much from the beginning. It was about a man named Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall), who woke from a coma to discover that he could touch people and see the past or the future. And he shook the hand of a politician who was destined to cause Armageddon.

Although the series did come to a fairly satisfactory conclusion, the final seasons weren't as good as they could have been, and they left us with a big, open plot thread. And I bet we won't ever get a TV movie or special to resolve it. Just so you know.
