		Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reviews by Billie Doux The latest: Turbulence (issue 31). Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) is my favorite television show, ever. Although it started slowly and the first season and a half weren't stellar, the series matured into something brilliant as well as unique. The ultimate in mixed genres, Buffy is technically a horror allegory, but it is also comedy, satire, romance, and melodrama. And it has, in my opinion, the wittiest dialogue ever, period.
