Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Direct link to my latest: Wolves at the Gate, Part II.

News flash: Joss Whedon is working on a new show on Fox called Dollhouse, starring Eliza Dushku. Yes, I'm disappointed that it isn't called Faith, but I'll take anything I can get. And of course, I will review it. I just started a Dollhouse discussion list, too.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite television show, ever. Although it started slowly and the first season and a half weren't stellar, the series matured into something brilliant as well as unique. The ultimate in mixed genres, Buffy is technically a horror allegory, but it is also comedy, satire, romance, and melodrama. And it has, in my opinion, the wittiest dialogue ever, period. People are still discovering Buffy, and will continue to discover Buffy. It's a classic.

I'm currently reviewing the season eight comic, since it is blessed by Whedon and officially canon. I'm also doing synopses for the comics, which I've never done for television episodes. If you'd like to know when my reviews go up, you can always sign up for updates. And if you'd like to order the comic by mail, click on the banner on your right.

Want to talk Buffy? I'm still moderating a Buffy/Angel discussion group, BtVS101. You're welcome to come join us.
